Wouldn't you love to be the lucky winner of either an all expense paid trip to England or $1,000 cash plus Sounders season tickets?
- Our qualification Rounds:
We will hold nine (9) separate challenge events at various locations around Washington State. A winner for each age group, gender and level will qualify to the State Finals. The players with the best overall scores from our six (6) challenges will qualify to the State Finals.
- State Final Round:
The winners for each age group, gender and level from our nine (9) state wide challenge events will compete against each other at the state finals. The winners from our state finals will qualify to our Championships.
- Overall Champion:
Once all state final winners for each age group, gender and level have been established our Star 1 Soccer panel will compile all data and then announce our overall champion who will have the choice of one of our two (2) wonderful prizes.
We establish this overall champion by:
- The player who won the most challenges during the state final round from their age group.
For example if player 1 who is ten years old (10) wins their state final group with a score of 5 winning challenges but player 2 who is 13 years old won their state final group with a score of 6 winning challenges then our overall champion would be player 2.
- If more than 1 player has the same amount challenge wins from their groups in the state finals then the player who has the largest margin from our tie breaker challenge (Dribbling) in terms of seconds from their nearest competitor from their age group and gender will be crowned our overall winner
For example if player 1 who is ten years old (10) wins their state final dribbling challenge with a score of 22 seconds and the nearest placed player from the same group gets a score of 24 seconds this will give player 1, a winning margin of two (2) seconds. But if player 2 who is 13 years old won their state final dribbling challenge with a score of 19 seconds and their nearest placed player from their same group gets a score of 22 seconds this will give player 2, a winning margin of three (3) seconds which would make player 2 our overall winner.
The scores recorded our final and so is the named overall champion.
